Seek Help
Depression doesn't make a person “crazy.” Just as things can go wrong in all other organs of the body, things can go wrong in the most important organ of all: the brain. Fortunately, most teens who seek help for their depression go on to have fulfilling teen and adult years because they learn how to enjoy life again and, most importantly, how to feel better about themselves.

Help and Resources
The good news is, even though depression is one of the most common emotional problems, it is also one of the most treatable conditions. You need to know that there are resources out there to help those with depression, whether it’s you who is suffering or a friend or family member. It is important for people who are suffering from depression to seek help as soon as possible. Treatment for depression may include talk therapy (simply talking to a professional), medication, or a combination of both.
